Clan Skate

“When Davie Phillips and I first opened the doors of Clan Skates back in August 1988, we were skating pro for Zorlac and Schmitt Stix. Today, it is the oldest skateboard shop in Scotland and almost thirty years on, this little hub has had some amazing people pass through its doors.

At Clan Skates we aim to cater for all your boarding wishes and needs. We have a large range of stock, including skateboards, scooters, surfboards and snowboards with all the accessories that you need to follow your sport. Our stock changes constantly and we only offer the core products of our stock on our website.

The worlds of skateboarding, snowboarding and surfing have provided us with the opportunity of visiting some amazing places all over the world… some of them happen to be in own back yard. So pop into the shop, say hello and see where the adventure takes you.” – Jamie

Freeze Pro Shop, Edinburgh

Freeze Pro Shop

The Freeze Fundamentals

We consider ourselves to be very lucky, we work in an industry that we love. Everyone at Freeze is here because of a shared passion for skiing, snowboarding & surfing – and we get to surround ourselves with it everyday. We are never having more fun than when we’re shredding fresh powder, riding through a perfectly shaped park, or tucking into a glassy dawn barrel – and helping other people do the same stokes us in the same way. Our mission is to make sure that when you’re on snow or in the water, you are having as much fun as you possibly can – and to ensure that happens, we have what we call the Freeze Fundamentals…

  • We ride what we stock
  • Good service comes as standard
  • Every detail is important
  • This isn’t just an industry to us, it’s a community

Our work stretches across a national and international platform, yet our distinctiveness lies in being ‘of the place’, rooted in who we are, and the creativity of Gaelic and the Outer Hebrides takes centre stage.

West Coast Surf wax is hand crafted on the beautiful and wild West Wales coast.
We began in 2007 by producing the very first ever hand made wax in the range then called Hills Organic Surf Wax.

This was sold widely across the UK and into Europe, before developing into the specialist wax product today which we are now proud to bring to you as the West Coast Surf Wax range, comprising Base coat surf wax, Cool Water surf wax and Cold water waterwaxes.

These waxes are designed by surfers for surfers.

From start to finish, every bar is hand crafted in our production suite, from mixing and pouring, to wrapping and packing.
Every ingredient used is fully sustainable and 100% natural, providing a natural solution to traction, whilst also contributing to less reliance on the use of oil.

We are independently owned and operated; all our products are created and tested by us.

We also love to surf…. see you out the back!
